VDA User SLs (Subscription Licenses) allow individual users to access server-hosted virtual desktops (also known as VDI, virtual desktop infrastructure) from any client device. In many cases, it also allows the licensed user to install and run Windows Enterprise locally on PCs. All use rights associated with these Per-User licenses are non-perpetual, meaning they terminate if the subscription is allowed to lapse. Rights conferred by VDA User SLs are very similar to Windows Enterprise User SLs (differences highlighted below).
