Windows 10 Defender Protection Roadmap

Windows 10 will gain features to address prevention, detection, and response to malware and advanced threats in versions promoted to organizations in late 2017 and early 2018. Advanced persistent threats involve skilled adversaries exploiting vulnerabilities or using social engineering to run malware to destroy, expose, steal, or hold data for ransom. Organizations concerned about such threats will welcome the new capabilities and be able to better configure and manage Defender through Microsoft systems management products.
