API Management

API Management provides management tools and a gateway component for configuring Web service APIs, enforcing policies for their use (such as limiting traffic), and authenticating and authorizing operations. Organizations commonly implement Web service APIs to provide access to functionality and data to customers, partners, and internal development teams. For example, a health insurance company might publish and manage a Web service API that delivers provider information to its corporate customers.
