Uptime Guarantee Improved for AAD Premium Tiers

Azure Active Directory (AAD) Premium tiers of service will be guaranteed to deliver 99.99% uptime, beginning in Apr. 2021. For customers who experienced several key outages during 2020, the new service-level agreement (SLA) could offer better recourse when outages do occur. The new SLA does not guarantee administrative functions, focusing instead on authentication and federation. All tiers of AAD currently offer 99.9% uptime, allowing approximately 8 more hours of downtime annually.
