Resources Provisioned in Microsoft 365 Groups

Microsoft 365 Groups is a cross-application membership service that manages resources available to a set of users within a group. Several Microsoft 365 collaboration services create groups with associated resources, such as a shared inbox and SharePoint site; groups can also be created with several management portals. This chart shows the resources that are associated with a group depending on where the group is created: The product or admin portal creating the group is shown in the leftmost column, and the resources created by each are shown across the top row.
